This rink appears to have been in business for less than 2-years.  The first reference located for this rink so far is in The Age Newspaper, 18 November 1980. An advertisement is seeking a rink manager. By 19 December 1981, an advertisement in the same publication states "WE ARE CLOSING DOWN. MORWELL ROLLER RINK FOR SALE". For sale are items such as "400 pairs of hire skates", "2 turntables", "one stereo cassette deck" and more. By 24 February 1982 a similar advertisement in The Age advises "WE HAVE CLOSED DOWN MORWELL ROLLER RINK".
